Testimonials
Kristin offers a rare deep listening—to both the writer and the writing. She possesses a unique ability to hear beyond the fledgling ideas, fragments, and messiness to uncover what truly wants to be born. She expertly holds all that a writer brings to the creative moment—those doubts, frustrations, self-criticism, and false stories. She’s believed in me when I struggled to believe in myself. Kristin is a tremendous force to have on your side.

With Kristin’s support, I’ve successfully expanded my writing from poetry to essays and now memoirs. She is an extraordinary writing coach and teacher, especially in guiding me to slow down and attend to the pace of essay writing while balancing thinking aloud on the page. She is patient, attentive, generous, and incredibly smart. Would I have a book contract for a memoir without her? Probably not! Kristin’s persistent literary generosity in community, consultation, and life is as eloquent as her own writing. --D.L.M.
